Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, food and beverage service, and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant environment, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise and motivate bar staff, including training new team members and managing schedules.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor inventory to minimise waste.
Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining consistency and quality.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Implement health and safety policies across the venue.
Collaborate with management to develop promotional events and optimise sales opportunities.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting, including serving beverages and managing customer relations.
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of staff effectively.
Experience in hotel or catering environments is advantageous.
Barista experience or familiarity with specialised coffee preparation is considered a plus.
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role. This position provides an engaging environment for passionate hospitality professionals eager to lead a vibrant team while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
