Full job description

We are looking for experienced, confident, and enthusiastic Waiters and Waitresses to join our team at One Steakhouse & Lounge, one of Hull's leading premium dining destinations.

This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous restaurant experience is essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Confidence in upselling food, drinks, wines, and desserts.
A professional and friendly approach with guests.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high service standards.
Ability to work well under pressure during busy service periods.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and key seasonal periods.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to our guests.
Build rapport with customers and create memorable dining experiences.
Demonstrate excellent menu knowledge and confidently make recommendations.
Maximise sales opportunities through effective upselling.
Ensure tables and service areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the venue.
