Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will streamline front-office operations, ensure smooth patient flow, and provide exceptional administrative support to our medical staff. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that promotes efficient healthcare delivery and patient satisfaction.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations with precision
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members
Maintain accurate patient records, update demographic information, and process documentation efficiently
Handle check-in and check-out procedures, including insurance verification and payment processing
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely flow of patient information and appointments
Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies

Qualifications

Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare setting or similar administrative environment
Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with patients and team members
Demonstrated proficiency in office software applications such as MS Office Suite or equivalent tools
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus
