Job Overview
We are offering an exciting Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accounts or Finance Assistance, designed to provide practical experience within a dynamic commercial environment. This paid apprenticeship is ideal for individuals seeking to develop foundational skills in accounting and finance, with opportunities to work with leading accounting software and systems. The role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations, gaining valuable industry knowledge, and progressing within the finance sector.

Responsibilities

Assisting with data entry related to financial transactions and records
Supporting accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and supplier payments
Utilising accounting software such as Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and QuickBooks to update and maintain financial data
Contributing to the reconciliation of accounts and ledger entries
Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements under supervision
Maintaining organised records of financial documents and correspondence
Collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial activities
Learning and applying best practices in financial data management using systems like Workday and Xero

Qualifications

A keen interest in finance or accounting with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles is desirable but not essential
Experience or familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or PeopleSoft is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Prior experience in financial services or administrative roles is a plus but not mandatory
A minimum educational qualification equivalent to GCSEs or above in relevant subjects
Cantonese or Mandarin speaker if possible but not essential
