Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant with quantity surveyor experience to support our office operations.

You must have construction industry experience.

You will be competent pricing water mains supply (guidance provided) and small commercial pipe work packages - estimation, BOQ's etc

You will be fully competent to manage the company CRM - training and support made available. Data input initially.

You shall be a key link between between internal teams - IT, finance, business development.

You will competently manage communication between external teams (suppliers, subcontractors, tradesmen).

You will make site visits, typically with another person e.g. a qualified tradesman or a technical manager.

You will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Duties

Handling various administrative tasks as required
Accurate file/folder management within Google Workspace
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
Ensure projects always have a RAMS in place, whether in house or provided by a subcontractor
Making new water mains applications to Thames Water
Tracking applications made to Thames Water, chasing as required

Working arrangements

Works shall be predominantly remote but with some site meetings and some colleague/team meetings
Whilst works are initially part time, a core working day is required e.g. 11am - 2pm, 10am to 3pm, however there is scope for flexibility which can be discussed on a case by case basis

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
