Front of House Team Member – The Goat Restaurant

Location: The Goat Restaurant
Hours: Part-Time (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

About Us

The Goat Restaurant is a busy and welcoming dining destination known for excellent food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Serving food and beverages to guests and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Preparing and maintaining dining areas to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Processing payments and operating the till system accurately.
Assisting with opening and closing duties as required.
Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
Maintaining good knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
Good attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable Skills

Experience using EPOS/till systems-preferred but not essential.
Previous experience in table service and cash handling.
