Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food and drink service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.

Duties

Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and communicate with the kitchen and bar team
Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set before and after service
Assist with setting up dining areas for service, including organising cutlery, glassware, and condiments
Provide information about menu items and make recommendations to guests as needed
Handle payments accurately using the POS system
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the venue
Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service
Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions
A positive attitude with a keen eye for detail and organisation
Ability to work well within a team environment whilst also demonstrating initiative

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
