AESTHETIC AND LASER THERAPIST (P/T 3 days per week)

Dr Joney De Souza Skin & Laser Clinic

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 per annum pro rata (£18,500 to £20,000 per annum based on 3 days - 24 hours per week) + generous commission and benefits

Our clinic is known for personalised care, clinical excellence, and a strong focus on skin health, offering treatments such as laser therapies, advanced facials, and medical-grade skincare.

WHO YOU ARE

You are passionate about skin health, laser treatments, and delivering visible results. You take pride in your work, thrive in a high-end clinical environment, and enjoy building long-term relationships with clients.

You are confident in consultations, knowledgeable in skincare—particularly ZO Skin Health—and motivated by achieving both clinical results and retail targets.

IMPORTANT:

This is not an entry-level role. Proven hands-on experience in laser and advanced aesthetic treatments is essential. Applications from candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Performing advanced treatments including:

Laser treatments (including PicoSure)
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
HydraFacial treatments
Radio Frequency treatments
VISIA skin analysis consultations

- Conducting in-depth consultations and creating tailored treatment plans

- Providing expert skincare advice and recommending ZO Skin Health products

- Driving retail sales and working towards commission-based targets

- Delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a luxury client experience

- Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONS (CLINICAL & FRONT OF HOUSE)

Warmly greet clients and ensure a seamless, high-end patient journey
Perform thorough skin assessments and consultations
Deliver treatments safely and effectively in line with clinic protocols
Provide clear pre- and post-treatment advice
Maintain exceptional hygiene, health & safety, and compliance standards
Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organised, and fully prepared
Keep up-to-date with all devices and treatment technologies
Work collaboratively with the wider clinic team
Provide front of house support, including covering reception as required
Undertake reception duties such as booking appointments, managing diaries, handling enquiries, and processing payments
Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations
Remain flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Deliver outstanding, personalised client care
Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty
Confidently recommend treatments and skincare products
Handle client queries and concerns professionally
Promote new treatments, packages, and offers
Consistently contribute to clinic sales performance

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

NVQ Level 4 in Beauty Therapy (required)
Proven experience in laser and IPL treatments (essential)
Experience with HydraFacial, Radio Frequency, and advanced facials
Knowledge of ZO Skin Health (or strong willingness to learn)
Previous experience in front of house or reception duties within a clinic setting (preferred)
Proven ability to achieve skincare sales and work towards commission targets
Excellent communication and consultation skills
Professional, polished, and client-focused approach
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end clinic environment
