Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and motivating gymnasts of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching skills within a supportive setting, fostering both individual growth and team success.

Duties

Deliver structured gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities
Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures for various gymnastics routines and equipment
Monitor participants’ progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills
Ensure the safety of all gymnasts by maintaining equipment and supervising activities diligently
Organise warm-up and cool-down exercises to prevent injuries
Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and teamwork among gymnasts
Maintain accurate attendance records and session reports
Assist in organising competitions, exhibitions, and special events as required

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar physical disciplines
Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and training methodologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of all ages
Previous experience working with children or young athletes is desirable but not essential
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but can be supported through training opportunities provided by us

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about sports education who wish to make a positive impact on young athletes’ lives while further developing their coaching expertise.

Pay: £20.00-£35.00 per hour

Gymnastics Coaching: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

DBS Certificate (preferred)
