Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their growth through engaging activities and personalised care.

Duties

Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Observe, record, and assess children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues regularly.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support holistic development.
Manage daily routines such as meal times, nappy changes, and rest periods efficiently.
Lead by example in promoting inclusive practice and behaviour management strategies.
Contribute to the planning of curriculum activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
Support the induction and mentoring of new staff or trainees within the nursery setting.

Skills

Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging confidently with children, parents, and team members.
Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood education frameworks.
Ability to demonstrate nurturing care while maintaining professional boundaries.
Organised with the ability to plan activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
Good organisational skills to manage documentation related to children's progress and compliance requirements.
Driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between nursery sites or community engagement activities. This role is ideal for passionate childcare professionals eager to make a positive impact on young children's lives while developing their career within a supportive environment.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
