Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, confident and well-presented individual to join our team in a combined role working across MedSpa Beauty Clinic and the beauty and customer-service counter at Calder Pharmacy.

his is a varied, customer-facing position suited to someone who enjoys speaking with clients, providing excellent service and recommending suitable beauty, skincare and wellness products.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedSpa Reception

Welcoming clients and providing a professional and friendly reception service.
Answering telephone calls and responding to client enquiries.
Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments.
Following up with clients regarding appointments, consultations and treatment enquiries.
Contacting new and existing client leads by telephone, email and messaging platforms.
Responding promptly and professionally to emails and online enquiries.
Explaining available treatments, current offers and clinic services.
Supporting clients with treatment bookings and general pre-appointment information.
Taking payments and maintaining accurate client and booking records.
Helping to keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organised and presentable.
Supporting the clinic team with general administrative and customer-service duties.

Pharmacy Beauty Counter and Customer Service

Welcoming and serving customers at the pharmacy counter.
Recommending suitable beauty, skincare, personal-care and wellness products.
Promoting relevant products, services and seasonal offers.
Answering customer questions and helping them select appropriate products.
Processing sales and handling payments accurately.
Replenishing and displaying beauty and skincare products.
Maintaining a clean, organised and attractive retail area.
Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of the pharmacy team.
Assisting with permitted over-the-counter customer enquiries under the supervision of the pharmacist and in accordance with pharmacy procedures and training.
Referring all clinical, medical or medicine-related questions to the pharmacist.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

Have excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Be confident speaking with clients in person, by telephone and in writing.
Be friendly, professional, reliable and well organised.
Have a genuine interest in beauty, skincare, aesthetics and wellness.
Be comfortable recommending and selling products and services.
Be confident following up client enquiries and potential leads.
Have good computer and administrative skills.
Be able to manage several tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to learn about pharmacy products, MedSpa treatments and booking systems.

Previous experience in a beauty clinic, pharmacy, retail, reception, sales or customer-service role would be beneficial, although full training will be provided to the right candidate.
