Do you want to join a successful and growing company? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join Northern Group. A thriving, market-leading property business operating in one of Manchester's most vibrant and fastest-growing neighbourhoods, Ancoats Urban Village.

We operate across residential, commercial, and co-working brands, and we are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team. Whether you bring direct property experience or a strong background in customer service, we provide full training and genuine opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Working closely with our established Property, Facilities and Accounts teams, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our existing residential and commercial portfolio, delivering a high standard of service to our clients and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

Advertise a variety of modern and well maintained properties.
Reference tenants in line with company standards and collate all relevant documentation.
Produce tenancy agreements and accompanying documents.
Carry out check-in inventories, including photographs, and oversee handovers to new tenants.
Register tenants for utilities and council tax.
Carry out regular property inspections in line with the company schedule.
Schedule our internal maintenance team for in-house works and raise works orders for external contractors, keeping tenants updated throughout.
Review rents on a regular basis to achieve the best returns for landlords.
Manage end-of-tenancy dates.
Process end-of-tenancy costs and deposit refunds.
Serve legal notices when required.
Carry out various administrative tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all systems.
Delivers first-class customer service with a professional and personable approach.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator who can engage positively with tenants, clients and stakeholders.
A proactive problem solver who takes responsibility and works on their own initiative.
Promotes a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

Experience in property, asset, or community management is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
