Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a dedicated care home specializing in senior care, including assisted living, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care. As the pivotal figure in ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality care, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, fostering a positive environment for residents and staff, and driving continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults while leading a compassionate and professional team.

Duties

Lead the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring high standards of assisted living, nursing, and dementia care are consistently met or exceeded.
Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, policies, and procedures through regular audits, staff training, and quality assurance processes.
Develop, review, and implement personalized care plans that address individual needs related to senior care, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety, accuracy, and adherence to legal requirements.
Supervise and support a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment rooted in leadership and teamwork.
Monitor operational budgets and resource allocation to optimize service delivery without compromising quality.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback from residents, families, and staff to enhance care services.
Maintain effective communication with healthcare professionals, families, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaborative care.

Requirements

Proven experience managing a care home or similar senior living facility with a strong understanding of assisted living, nursing home environments, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a registered manager or eligible for registration.
Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation including safeguarding protocols, medication administration laws, and health & safety regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a care setting.
Strong background in developing individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs related to dementia and senior health conditions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, staff teams, and regulatory bodies.
Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of care delivery through supervision and coaching.
Experience working within home care or nursing environments is highly desirable along with specific expertise in Alzheimer's disease management.
