Full job description

Lindale Homes is a leading provider of a variety of services, primarily for the health and social care sector. We have many properties offering a high standard of living in and around the West Midlands area.

We are recruiting for a Maintenance & Compliance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Maintenance Department, ensuring parts and materials are identified, ordered and ready for planned jobs. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for monitoring health & safety requirements and compliance across the property portfolio. IOSH Working Safely, Fire Safety Awareness & Legionella Awareness Training desirable.

This is a part time permanent position

· 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday

· Location – Birmingham area

· Salary £27-28k per annum (pro rata)

Overall duties to include:

Ø Book certificates for properties on a 6-monthly / annual basis, including gas, electrical and fire safety

Ø Produce reports following receipt of certificates, including logging, raising and booking any required works on the portal (Safety Culture)

Ø Co-ordinate legionella testing (weekly, monthly 6-monthly and annual checks) for all properties,

Ø Booking external contractors as required

Ø Identifying and ordering necessary items for outstanding maintenance jobs, from online and local suppliers

Ø Oversee safety checks across all properties, ensuring compliance and arranging any subsequent remedial works

Ø Obtain meter readings for all properties, recording and updating on energy accounts as necessary

Ø Arrange reports for new properties, and produce certificates for Heartsease (Housing Association)

Ø Manage asset logs and registration

Ø Management of company fleet vehicles, to include issuing reminders for MOTs, servicing, and any necessary repairs. Oversee the RAM tracking systems for fleet vehicles, identifying and acting upon any notifications

Please note this role is subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
