Full job description

Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Care

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £37,360 per year (including sleep-ins) + performance bonuses
Shifts: 1 day on, 2 days off rota (sleep-in required on every shift)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to help lead our children's residential home, supporting young people with complex needs while guiding and developing a dedicated team.

In this role, you'll:

Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
Mentor and coach Residential Support Workers.
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
Support education, appointments, daily routines and independence.
Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour through therapeutic practice.
Complete care planning, records and key working responsibilities.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

A Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare (or are working towards one).
At least two years' experience in a children's residential setting.
Experience supporting children with autism, mental health, or emotional and behavioural needs.
Strong leadership skills and a full UK driving licence.
