Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial components and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse operations to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required.
Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint, coatings, or sealants accurately and efficiently.
Mix paints and coatings according to specifications using basic maths skills.
Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure consistent application quality.
Perform minor repairs or touch-ups on painted surfaces as needed.
Assist with fabrication, assembly, or other related tasks when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting, fabrication, or warehouse environments is desirable.
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
Ability to work with basic maths for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately.
Experience with the use of hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or construction setting.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial painting and equipment operation.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Prior experience in welding or fabrication is advantageous but not essential.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting or manoeuvring materials.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to expand their expertise within the industrial painting sector while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
