Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, providing attentive service and supporting the overall operation of the establishment. A background in hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred, along with a passion for food and guest satisfaction. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting where organisation, time management, and excellent communication are essential.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables with professionalism.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Handle payments accurately using the POS system, providing correct change and receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, side stations, and dining rooms.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues swiftly.
Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently.
Assist in setting up dining areas before service and clearing after closing hours.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling techniques will be beneficial.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills, with an emphasis on courteous interaction with guests and team members.
Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and cash handling accurately.
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment or culinary background can be an asset but is not mandatory.

Pay: £10.00-£18.58 per hour
