Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 08:00am - 16:00pm

Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (working for 42 weeks per year plus 6.51 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

(As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Peacehaven Meridian Community Primary School & Nursery is seeking an organised, efficient and proactive Finance & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated office team. This is a varied role supporting financial administration, marketing, parent communication and general office duties to help the school run smoothly and professionally.

About the Role:

As our Finance & Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the School Business Manager with day‑to‑day financial processes and ensuring high‑quality communication with parents and the school community.

Your role will include:

Finance Administration
Marketing & Communications
IT Asset Management
Reception & Administration
Safeguarding & First Aid

About You -

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with strong administrative skills
Confident in financial administration and record‑keeping
Able to accurately maintain IT asset systems
Skilled at prioritising workloads in a busy environment
Professional, approachable and an excellent communicator
Competent with Microsoft Office and financial systems such as Arbor Finance
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable:

Experience in school finance or marketing
Knowledge of IT hardware management
Familiarity with safeguarding and health & safety procedures
