Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold our high standards of service.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining food safety standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table settings and general environment
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required
Manage cash register operations, including basic maths for billing purposes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic environment
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
