Full job description

Overview
We’re looking for someone who can Smile, passionate, skilled, and creative Baristas & Server to join our team, people who love coffee, great conversation, and bringing their unique personality to every interaction. At Caspino, we believe in letting you be yourself.. whether that means sharing your love for latte art, recommending a new brew, or simply making someone’s day with a warm smile and exceptional service & encourage repeat visits.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following health regulations.
Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly for optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Assisting with creating content for social media

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
Time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
