Full job description

We’re looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and full of initiative to join the team as our Food & Beverage Manager at Weymouth Pavilion.

With four busy bars and a year-round calendar of events, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high standards, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, permanent position and includes evening and weekend work.

As our Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency across all areas of food and drink service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the smooth daily running of all four bars
Maintaining cellar standards and ensuring full hygiene compliance
Managing stock rotation and ordering
Ensuring food and drink menus are up to date, cost-effective, and profitable
Handling cash and ensuring financial accuracy
Delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example
Taking on Duty Manager shifts (including evenings and weekends as part of a rota)
Staff training and compliance training
Covering kitchen shifts as necessary

What we’re looking for:

This is a hands on role. The successful applicant will be expected to do shifts in the kitchen and behind the bar.

Due to the nature of the business evenings and weekends are a must.

We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in high standards and great customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

Essential

A Personal License
Cellar Training and experience maintaining cellar hygiene
Previous experience in managing busy bar operations
Experience working in a kitchen and the ability to cook with confidence

Desirable

Level Three Food Hygiene
Strong money-handling and organisational skills
A keen eye for menu development and food profitability
Excellent customer service and communication skills
