Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Support Operative to join our team. This role involves assisting in site set-ups and supporting project teams, and ensuring smooth operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, be comfortable working with hand and power tools, and possess a keen eye for detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects.

Duties

Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Use hand tools and power tools to support carpentry, assembly, or other construction activities
Support the delivery and organisation of materials on-site
Help with measurements, marking out work areas, and preparing surfaces for further work
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and organising tools and equipment
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks on site

Experience

Previous experience working with hand tools and power tools is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Basic understanding of construction processes or related fields is advantageous
Practical experience in a similar support role within construction or manual trades is beneficial
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

This position is paid and offers valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry, making it an excellent stepping stone for individuals interested in developing their skills within this sector.
