Job Title: Freelance Graphic Designer

Position Overview

Photobot creates memorable photo booth experiences for venues, festivals, corporate events and private celebrations across the UK. We are seeking a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to support our growing business with both digital and print design projects.

This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who can take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to create engaging visual content that strengthens the Photobot brand and supports our clients’ campaigns and events.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering high-quality creative work to agreed deadlines. This is a flexible freelance position that can be carried out remotely, with opportunities for local collaboration when required.

As we operate within the events and hospitality industry, there may occasionally be requirements for last-minute design requests to support client campaigns, venue launches or event activations. The successful candidate should be flexible and responsive when urgent projects arise, while maintaining a high standard of work.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Design & Brand Development

· Design and produce creative assets across both digital and print channels

· Create marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, signage and promotional materials

· Design digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media and online advertising

· Ensure all creative work aligns with Photobot’s brand guidelines and visual identity

· Contribute fresh ideas and creative concepts to support marketing campaigns and business growth

Print & Production Design

· Prepare artwork for professional print production

· Ensure files are supplied correctly with appropriate specifications, bleed and colour profiles

· Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail across all deliverables

Digital Content Creation

· Design engaging visual content for social media platforms and digital campaigns

· Create graphics, promotional materials and branded content for events and activations

· Adapt designs across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency

· Support the wider team with creative assets as business needs evolve

Project Management & Communication

· Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting agreed deadlines

· Take creative briefs and translate them into effective visual solutions

· Present concepts and design ideas clearly and confidently

· Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project progress and requirements

· Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and creative development

Required Skills

· Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Freelance Designer or similar creative role

· Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work

· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign

· Excellent understanding of print production processes and artwork preparation

· Experience creating digital content for web, email and social media platforms

· Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Ability to manage urgent requests and work flexibly when business needs require
Comfortable working to tight deadlines without compromising quality
Availability to accommodate occasional out-of-hours or last-minute project requirements
