Location: Remote (work from home) · Commitment: fully flexible, you set your own hours · Compensation: commission-based

AppointPilot is a Dutch company that helps UK businesses — think solar panel, home battery and heat pump installers, and renovation companies — get more out of their leads. We automate lead follow-up and re-activate dormant customer databases with smart WhatsApp and AI solutions.

We're growing fast and we're looking for a driven freelancer to help us get new clients on board.

What you'll be doing

You're the first link in our sales process. Here's what that looks like:

Cold calling a pre-defined target audience (installers, renovation companies, and related sectors)
Qualifying prospects: would this business benefit from our solution?
Booking demo appointments in our calendar

The demos and the closing are handled by us (the founders). Your focus is fully on one thing: picking up the phone and booking quality appointments.

Work when it counts — not nine to five

This isn't a classic job with fixed hours, and that's exactly where the appeal lies. You decide when and how much you call. Cold calling works best in short, focused sprints — at the moments when decision-makers are easiest to reach and your own mindset and motivation are high and sharp. A few well-timed hours, when your drive is at its peak, deliver more than a whole day stuck on the phone.

That makes this role ideal to combine with another job, your own business, or a household with kids at home. Whether you want to call 10, 15 or 30 hours a week — it doesn't matter to us. We don't measure hours, we measure results. The more efficiently you use your time, the better it works for both of us — you score, we score. A real win-win.

Who we're looking for

You enjoy cold calling and aren't put off by a "no"
You speak and write fluent English
You're commercially minded, independent and results-driven
An entrepreneurial mindset is a real plus: if you like to get involved and spot opportunities, there's plenty of room for it here
You have your own workspace and a quiet calling environment
Experience with B2B telephony or appointment setting is a strong advantage
You're registered as self-employed in the UK (sole trader or limited company)

What we offer

Fully commission-based with an attractive structure:
£35 for every qualified demo appointment that goes ahead
£400 bonus for every client that comes out of your appointments
Maximum freedom: you decide your own schedule and number of hours entirely. Work in sprints at the moments that count and keep the rest of your time free.
Room for entrepreneurship: want to help decide which new sectors we target, or bring in affiliate partners? We're open to it. We're looking for entrepreneurial types and there's plenty of opportunity to expand your role — and your earnings. Those who take initiative get the room to run here.
We do the heavy lifting for you: we deliver the leads, give you a ready-made script and train you so you call better every week. You don't have to figure anything out yourself.
Your appointments are in good hands: our experienced closers convert an average of 65% of the demos you book into paying clients. So a good appointment very often leads to your bonus.
Personal one-on-one coaching: you're coached by experienced sales people who work closely with you, give feedback on your calls and help you improve fast.
Grow with a fast-growing AI company: you get insight into how we operate and scale, including the chance to grow into a closer role.
You won't be working in isolation: you work from home, but you're in a friendly Zoom call with colleagues. Quick, direct communication with the founders, and genuine fun while you work.

Earnings example

Cold calling is a craft you build — and thanks to our high close rate, every appointment you book is well rewarded. Because we measure results, not hours, your earnings come from the number of good appointments you book, not the number of hours you put in.

Do the maths yourself: you get £35 per qualified demo that goes ahead, and because our closers convert an average of 65% of those into a client (£400 bonus), every good appointment is worth roughly £295 on average. What that adds up to is up to you:

Casually, alongside something else, ~8 appointments a month: around £2,350
Up to speed, ~20 appointments a month: around £5,900
Full throttle with our best lists, 30+ appointments a month: £9,000 or more (internally we've run months of 37 demos per person — well over £10,000)

There's no ceiling: the better and smarter you call, the more you earn — whether you put in 10 hours or 40 hours a week.
