Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Electricians Mate/Improver to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in electrical work while contributing to safe and efficient project execution. You will be an essential part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical solutions, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting the smooth progress of all electrical activities.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems using hand tools and power tools
Support the setup and dismantling of electrical equipment on-site, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Conduct basic inspections of electrical components and wiring under supervision to identify potential issues
Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical tasks
Follow detailed instructions from senior electricians to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Document work progress and report any safety concerns or technical issues to supervisors promptly

Experience

Previous experience working with hand tools, power tools, or in an electrical environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Basic understanding of electrical systems or coursework related to electrical trades is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
Willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge in electrical installation and maintenance
