Full job description

Nick Tart Lettings are looking for a driven and people focused Lettings Negotiator to join our growing team in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role is ideal for a naturally motivated individual who enjoys connecting with people, building trust with landlords and tenants, and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the lettings process from enquiry through to move in.

You will be at the heart of the business, supporting both landlords and tenants while ensuring every interaction reflects our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively register and match applicants to suitable properties
Arrange, confirm and follow up on viewings to maximise conversion opportunities
Conduct in person viewings, delivering a professional and engaging experience
Manage the full tenancy administration process, including credit checks, income verification and referencing
Provide a welcoming and professional first impression by answering calls and greeting clients in the office
Coordinate maintenance works, obtaining quotations and liaising with contractors
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, handling enquiries efficiently and professionally
Support the day to day running of the office, including general administration such as filing, scanning and maintaining a tidy workspace

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Naturally proactive and self motivated with a positive attitude
Confident in building rapport and maintaining lasting client relationships
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
A clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
Committed to delivering outstanding customer service
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in residential lettings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate with the right mindset.

Additional Information

Office based role in Telford, with occasional offsite appointments
A full driving licence and access to a business insured vehicle is required
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays on a 3 weekly rota, 9:00am to 1:00pm
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Business mileage reimbursed monthly
