Full job description

Ardent is a fast growing and leading chambers supporting independent medical professionals with all aspects of their medico-legal practice. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and are looking for an organised, proactive Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a busy office environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our office, marketing activities and case management teams. No two days are the same, and you'll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure everything operates efficiently.

This is a fully on-site role. Please ensure you can travel to North Manchester, M8 4JY.

What's On Offer:

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (9:00am - 5:00pm).
No evening or weekend shifts.
33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
An extra 2 days annual leave after 2 years' service.
BUPA Cash Plan.
A half-day Friday every month after 9 months' service.
Casual dress.
Free on-site parking.
Annual Christmas party and regular company social events.
One week's paid sabbatical after 5 years' service.

Duties and responsibilities: What Will I Be Doing?

Provide general administrative support across the business.
Manage documents, records and company databases.
Answer calls, welcome visitors and handle correspondence.
Support client case administration and CRM updates.
Assist with marketing campaigns, events and communications.
Liaise with clients, medical experts and colleagues.
Prepare reports and complete a variety of administrative tasks.
Support the team with projects and day-to-day operations.

What Skills Do I Need?

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Experience using CRM systems (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
Previous administration or client-facing experience is desirable.

What Experience Do I Need?

Industry experience is not required but is beneficial.
