JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:

Spa Assistant

REPORTING TO: Spa Manager

SALARY: £13.00 p/h

HOURS: 40 Hours over a 7-day week

Spa Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Spa Assistant to join our team.

As a Spa Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment. This is a varied role that combines customer service, housekeeping, and health & safety responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming guests to the spa and providing excellent customer service.
Managing the spa reception, including bookings, enquiries, and payments.
Carrying out regular swimming pool and spa water quality tests and maintaining accurate records.
Ensuring all poolside and spa areas are clean, tidy, and presented to a high standard.
Cleaning treatment rooms, changing rooms, toilets, and public areas throughout the day.
Replenishing towels, robes, toiletries, and refreshments.
Monitoring health and safety standards and reporting any maintenance issues.
Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
Supporting the wider hotel team as required.

What We're Looking For:

A positive and professional attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
Previous spa, leisure, hotel, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Confident answering the phone and using an online booking system – training available.
