Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza / Grill / Kebab Cook to join our busy restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their talents and contribute to a vibrant dining experience. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
Cook pizzas, grilled meats, kebabs, and other menu items to high-quality standards
Ensure all food is cooked safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
Assist with meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee perfect results
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to customers or front-of-house staff
Follow portion control guidelines and presentation standards for all menu items
Support stock rotation and assist with inventory management as required

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Strong skills in meal preparation, especially pizza making, grilling, and kebab cooking
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
must be able to travel easily to job location
must be able to provide ni number and have right to work in uk
