Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a busy restaurant environment, contributing to the creation of delicious meals that delight our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and mise en place of ingredients for efficient kitchen operation
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and high-quality meals
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency
Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage practices
Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent understanding of culinary techniques and presentation skills
Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
A genuine passion for food, creativity, and continuous learning in the culinary arts
