Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and safety, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service. You will drive the creation of innovative dishes, maintain kitchen efficiency, and uphold our commitment to culinary excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while working in a vibrant kitchen environment.

Duties

Report into Head Chef and supervise daily food production activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Lead and manage the kitchen team in the head chefs absence, providing guidance, training, and motivation to foster a collaborative work environment
Oversee food preparation processes, including ingredient selection, portion control, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of orders and optimal guest satisfaction
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient stock management

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Extensive kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and hospitality standards
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
