Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Welcome and serve guests in a professional and friendly manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Set up tables, organise seating arrangements, and clear tables promptly
Support baristas with beverage preparation when necessary
Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Assist in event catering setups and breakdowns as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important qualities
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
A good understanding of customer service principles and team collaboration skills
