Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated cook to join our culinary team, predominantly for breakfast service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals. Applicants should have a solid understanding of food safety standards and previous experience working in restaurant settings. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and excellence in meal preparation. Promotion to Head of Kitchen possible for the right candidate.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and presented attractively
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
Assist in menu planning and suggest new ideas to enhance the dining experience
Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all aspects of food preparation and service

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Experience with meal preparation across diverse cuisines is desirable
Previous experience serving customers in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and hygiene standards essential for this role

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
