Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cleaner (and also Breakfast Server assistant when required) to join our housekeeping and breakfast team, providing exceptional services in a variety of settings who can also extend their hours helping with breakfast service at busier times. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene whilst also being customer focused.. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, along with janitorial experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, communal areas , public bar and toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
Change bed linen and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and hygienic
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and clean carpets to a high standard
Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures regularly
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and storage areas
Help serve breakfast and attend to customers at busier seasonal times
Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and privacy

Skills

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality sectors is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
Knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning chemicals
Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
