Full job description

This position requires someone who is able to work on all sections of a kitchen, and perform duties as instructed by the sous and head chef when required. A minimum of 2 years' kitchen experience is required. Previous experience with ordering and HACCP is a plus but not a requirement as training will be provided. This is predominantly a daytime role however you may be asked to help with occasional evening events. Applicants must be able to work weekends. All our food is made from scratch so experience with fresh food is a must.

Marmadukes is an all-day cafe business, which includes our own sourdough bakery supplying all of our three cafes. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be required to execute an existing menu, with an eye to helping develop exciting new dishes that will compliment and improve our overall offer.

We make and bake everything ourselves, in-house, from scratch, using the very best produce we can get our hands on. We work with top UK suppliers to ensure our food and drink is the best for People & Planet.

As a daytime cafe, our menu is varied and goes from breakfast through to brunch and lunch. With a focus on quality throughout, we are a company that is pushing forward with a sustainable approach, through our relationship with Wildfarmed, who are at the helm of regenerative farming & carbon negative wheat.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years kitchen experience
Must be available to work weekends

Approx 32-35 hours per week

Pay: £13.30 per hour
