Title: Coffee Bar Supervisor

Location: Holborn, London, UK

Salary: £15.50 per hour

BaxterStorey are looking for an experienced Coffee Bar Supervisor to join the team at McKinsey & Company.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the food and beverage industry. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a high standard of service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and driving sales growth.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.

Full time - 40 hours

Monday to Friday

Between 7.30AM to 5.30PM

Salary: £15.50 p/h

About the Cafe Supervisor role:

To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are always of highest standard
Monitor coffee standards excellence
To supervise, manage and motivate the team
To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
To support management team with daily/weekly sales input, stock take, ordering and team rostering
Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained

Qualifications

Excellent product knowledge of food and beverages
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to take initiative and work independently
Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
Supportive team player with a collaborative attitude
Strong presentation and customer service skills
Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one
Basic maths skills for inventory management and cash handling
Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is desirable
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
