.Labourer – Immediate Start

Company: Modular Fabrications

Location: Rochester

Hours:

Monday to Friday
6:00am – 4:00pm
Overtime available

About the Role

Modular Fabrications is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our growing team with an immediate start available.

This is a hands-on role supporting our manufacturing and fabrication operations. You’ll be responsible for assisting tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, moving materials, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting skilled tradespeople with daily tasks.
Loading, unloading, and moving materials safely.
Preparing work areas and keeping them clean and organised.
Operating basic hand and power tools (where trained).
General lifting and manual handling duties.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Assisting with assembly, fabrication, and installation work as required.
Carrying out general labouring duties across the workshop and site.

Preferred Experience

While training can be provided, the following experience is desirable:

Previous experience in a labouring, construction, manufacturing, or fabrication environment.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).

Requirements

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Flexible to work overtime when required.
