Full job description

We’re looking for a full-time baker to join the team at Bakery at Hampton Manor. We are a team of bakers who love working with grains grown in the UK, are interested in farming systems and always look for more innovative ways to create our products. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience of sourdough bread-making, long fermentation and viennoiserie in a professional environment along with a passion for craft, provenance and an eye for detail.

We’re a small team, we share multiple roles and responsibilities across the bakery. This role requires you to make sourdough bread, viennoiserie products, cakes, tarts and biscuits. Training will be provided, but experience in a professional baking or restaurant setting or prior professional training in baking or pastry is essential.

We are looking for someone who shares our ethos and core values in regenerative farming and provenance of ingredients, who is a team player, works efficiently, proactively and brings positive energy.

This could be a full or part time role depending on the candidate,

5 out of 7 working days. The earliest shift starts at 4am (no night shifts) A means to commute in early hours is essential.

Salary includes troncs & will be dependant on experience.
