Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented House Keeping Staff to join our dynamic team at a premier hotel near Birmingham airport. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to creating a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards of cleanliness and presentation
Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas regularly to maintain hygiene standards
Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly
Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed
Maintain a friendly attitude by greeting guests courteously when interacting in common areas or during service requests

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work is highly preferred
Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service excellence
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and sanitation practices
