44 hour weeks - over 4 or 5 days (28 days holiday)

Flexible Days

Just let me know by Wednesday for the following week. Its a 7 day busy operation and enough of us to always cover. Or set days if that is more suitable

There is enough MEP to start early and finish early, or just work lates, depends what interests you

Band for this role is: £30-36k per annum (depending on experience) with additional monthly tips totaling £4k per year

Job Title

Chef de Partie or Junior Sous depending on experience

You will be a member of the Manor House Events Kitchen team

You will report to - Head & Sous Chefs

You will work as part of the EVENTS kitchen (not restaurant service) we look after breakfast, private dining, tasting room experiences, weddings, corporate buffets, BBQ's, afternoon tea, bar food

Hampton Manor, Shadowbrook Lane, Hampton in Arden, Solihull, B92 0EN

Hampton Manor, a family-owned estate, consists of an incredible courtyard space for bespoke, luxury events and weddings. Grace and Savour*, a Michelin starred restaurant offering British cuisine. Kynd, an informal restaurant all about small farms and big flavours. The bakery supporting those pioneering better farming systems.

Employment Type

This is a full time role. 4 shifts per week - approx 44 hours

Key Objectives

Ability to run an event without close supervision
Know every dish on the core menus
Understanding of wider menus
Checking food cost on invoices and handling deliveries
Maintaining service fridges
Maintaining health and safety standards for section
Maintaining food hygiene standards for section
Being able to prepare staff food on time
Always on time and presentable when at work
Manage commis chefs / CDP's

Essential Skills

Consistency in cooking and high culinary standard
Proficiency with numeracy
Responsive on slack
Able to use notion
Confidence in ability to train someone junior
Ability to learn

The salary band for this role is: £30-36k per annum (depending on experience)
