Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to develop their skills within a reputable establishment committed to excellence in food service.

Duties

Lead and supervise specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of menu items with precision and creativity
Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining consistency and efficiency during service
Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff to uphold high standards of culinary practice
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to develop new dishes and menu ideas
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your designated section, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and quality control
Ability to manage time effectively whilst multitasking during busy service periods
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
A recognised culinary qualification is desirable but not essential; relevant kitchen experience is paramount
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings as part of rota

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
