Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Cafe All-Rounder / Barista to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering excellent customer service, preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food, with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a similar role is needed, full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant café environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and smoothies.
prepare all food tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, breakfasts, burgers, hot food and snacks.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all areas of the café.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
Keep the café clean and tidy, including cleaning work surfaces, equipment, and customer areas.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities as required.

Skills

Proven experience with food or in a similar customer service role is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Ability to prepare food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. This role offers an engaging working environment where you can develop your hospitality skills while providing exceptional service to our customers.
