Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Location: Stroud

Salary: £13.45 per hour.

Contract: Full-time, 6 months.

Reports to: Head of Operations

About the Role:

We are looking for a number of reliable Warehouse Assistants to join our friendly team in Stroud on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately, as well as helping to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.

Skills/Requirements:

Experience in a similar role is essential
IT literacy skills in order to use handheld scanners and inventory software systems
Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks
A common-sense approach to problem solving
A desire to be part of a team that works together for the common goal

Key Responsibilities:

Using hand held scanners for picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Supporting with stock counts and general warehouse organisation.
Following all company policies on health and safety, product handling, and quality assurance.
Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness across all warehouse areas.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
