Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the role of part time breakfast & lunch cook, three-four days a week with an option for additional hours.

Hours depend on the day working.

Shifts are as follows:

7:30am-3pm Tuesday-Thursday,

7:30am-3:30pm Fridays,

8:30am-3:30pm Saturday & Sundays

This will be working in our unit inside Five Valleys-Vinnie’s Brunch Bar.

This position involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. The successful candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Support team members during service, including taking orders and payments
Ensure food presentation meets company standards before serving to customers

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is highly desirable but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen

As we are a new company we will only be offering work on a self-employed basis, paid weekly Via bank transfer.

Hourly rate dependant on experience.
