Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Head to lead our organisation’s supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain processes, driving process optimisation, and ensuring the seamless coordination of logistics, procurement, and inventory management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence organisational efficiency through innovative strategies and data-driven decision-making. The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of ERP systems, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organisational goals, utilising tools such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and other ERP systems.
Lead cross-functional teams to optimise procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
Analyse supply chain data using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and other analytics tools to identify trends and areas for process enhancement.
Drive process improvement initiatives employing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials whilst maintaining quality standards.
Manage risk assessment procedures within the supply chain to mitigate potential disruptions.
Oversee compliance with organisational policies and industry regulations related to logistics and procurement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior supply chain management role or similar leadership position.
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems including SAP (SAP ERP), Oracle EBS, and other relevant platforms.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, with a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and Kaizen.
Demonstrated ability in logistics management and supply chain optimisation.
Strong analytical skills with the capacity for root cause analysis and problem-solving within complex operational environments.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead teams effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.
Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management or Logistics are highly desirable.
