Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising the entire restaurant team, coordinating food preparation and service, and ensuring smooth operational flow. Previous experience in culinary management, supervising teams, and a solid understanding of food safety regulations are essential. The position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring efficient team management and high service standards
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served
Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all departments
Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production schedules and menu execution
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Assist in training new staff members in service protocols, food safety practices, and company policies
Monitor financial performance, optimise resource utilisation, and manage labour costs effectively
Organise staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining a balanced workload for team members

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards in the hospitality industry
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Experience in supervising food production processes and ensuring quality control
Knowledge of hospitality operations including serving standards, barista skills, and hotel experience is advantageous
Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers confidently
Demonstrated ability to handle customer complaints diplomatically while maintaining professionalism
Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences through attentive service and high-quality cuisine

Pay: £24,420.00-£47,199.05 per year
