Overview

Join our team as a Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our organisation! In this vital role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Your energetic and organised approach will help streamline daily operations, manage communications efficiently, and create a friendly environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a vibrant workplace.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors warmly, assist and direct them appropriately.
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing inquiries to the right departments
Manage front desk operations including handling mail, deliveries, and scheduling appointments
Maintain organised records through accurate data entry using Microsoft Office.
Support administrative tasks such as scanning, and electronically filling documents.
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Assist with basic clerical duties to support team members and enhance office efficiency

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Demonstrated administrative experience with strong typing skills and familiarity with clerical procedures
Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multiple calls confidently and courteously
Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of office equipment operation such as printers, scanners, and phones
Ability to adapt quickly to new software or processes as needed for smooth office operations

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
