Job Overview

6 Hours Per Week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday (2 hours each)

Early Mornings

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Cleaner to join our team in Accrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for a Commercial Client. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous cleaning experience to contribute to a professional environment and ensure spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming. The position is paid and requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure optimal hygiene standards
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
Ensure all areas are left tidy, sanitised, and presentable at the end of each shift
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from management
Key Holder Duties possible

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to tasks
Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
Good communication skills to report issues clearly and promptly
Reliable with a professional attitude towards cleanliness standards

This role is ideal for candidates who take pride in their work, are committed to maintaining high hygiene standards, and possess previous janitorial experience.
