An incredibly exciting opportunity to join our 5-star team @dressdreamsbridal in Tunbridge Wells.

We're looking for a Bridal Consultant to join our amazing boutique who is enthusiastic, confident, passionate about fashion and bridal, and flexible to work with a growing team.

⁠

A passion for bridal and sales experience are essential ⁠

Experienced bridal consultant preferred, but not essential if you are a fast learner and willing to learn (there is a lot more to it than people realise!) ⁠

Regular Saturday availability is essential for this role⁠

Exceptional personal and communication skills⁠

Committed to delivering exceptional customer service ⁠

Reliable, professional and confident with a great attention to detail ⁠

You'll be part of a close-knit team that is exciting, great fun and incredibly warm and supportive. This is a temporary part-time position for Fridays and Saturdays until January 2027, with the possibility of becoming a permanent Bridal Consultant on Saturdays, with additional flexible hours, subject to business needs and performance. ⁠

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Assist brides in selecting bridal gowns and accessories that suit their style, size, and preferences.
Provide expert advice on fit, fabric, colour options, and current trends to guide purchasing decisions.
Conduct fittings and ensure garments are presented attractively on mannequins or displays.
Upsell additional products such as veils, jewellery, or shoes to enhance the customer’s purchase experience.
Maintain thorough knowledge of stock levels, new arrivals, and promotional offers to inform clients accurately.
Organise appointments efficiently, managing time effectively to serve multiple clients throughout the day.
Utilise merchandising skills to display products appealingly and maximise sales opportunities.
Handle customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy following proper phone etiquette.
Keep the sales area tidy, organised, and well-stocked to ensure an inviting shopping environment.

Requirements

Fluency in English
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and articulate product information clearly.
Organisational skills with the confidence & capacity to manage appointments and able to deal with a variety of people and personalities.
Basic maths skills for processing payments , handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
Experience in sales
Excellent time management skills
Professional phone etiquette regularly interacting over the phone or via email.
Attention to detail to ensure a seamless shopping experience for every client.
Happy to be busy, on your feet for long hours handling heavy dresses and deliveries, and steaming regularly.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about fashion and customer service to thrive within a dynamic bridal environment while helping brides create unforgettable memories on their special day.
