Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Sales & Events Co-ordinator to join our team. This role involves managing and promoting events, upselling services, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across our hospitality and event venues. The successful candidate will play a vital part in driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and delivering outstanding customer service. A background in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant environments is highly desirable, alongside excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities.

Duties

Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our event spaces and services, with a focus on upselling additional offerings to maximise revenue.
Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including liaising with clients, managing bookings, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
Maintain detailed organisational records of upcoming events, client preferences, and sales activities.
Provide exceptional guest services by understanding client needs and delivering personalised solutions.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple bookings and client communications simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to promote upcoming events through various channels.
Assist community engagement activities to enhance the venue’s profile.
Ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently, including liaising with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.

Experience

Previous experience in sales or event coordination within the hospitality industry such as hotels or restaurants is preferred.
Proven ability in upselling products or services to maximise revenue opportunities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to guest interactions.
Experience in time management to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of guest services principles and hospitality standards is advantageos
